Boots aren't a necessity in karting. However, I recommend that if you can afford them to get them.

Karting boots are designed to increase the feel of the pedals you are pressing on. As well as being comfortable for longer races. Boots are not supplied by tracks as they are optional. However, if you are planning on doing races of a length of over an hour, I recommend to buy a pair. This is because they will last for a lot of races and will be comfortable on your feet when racing. It will also help you improve your accuracy with the pedals.

There are plenty of different colours to chose from many different brands. The most popular brands, like the suits and gloves, are OMP, Alpinestars and Sparco as they are the safest and most reliable.
